  • The Orthodox Church in Nigeria

In 2012, The Orthodox Church in Nigeria, the most important church in the religious jurisdiction (métropole) that includes Nigeria, Benin, Togo and Niger counted: 35 parishes, 9 communities, 26 members of the clergy, 30 catechists and 20 readers.

  •  The Orthodox Church in Benin has five parishes :

-the « Saint Catherine of Alexandria parish in Porto Novo and a small monastery in the same city, called: « the protection of the Mother of God »
- the « Saint John Chrysostom » parish in Cotonou
- the « Holy Trinity » parish in Calavi,
- the « Moses the Black » parish in Abomey,
- the« Saint George » in Sékou
